How To Start Your Afilliate Marketing Business In Less Than 30 Minutes
But before we start let me give you an overview of how this works. Affiliate marketing is a method of promoting web businesses in which an affiliate (YOU) is rewarded for every visitor, subscriber, customer, and/or sale provided through his/her efforts. Basically all you have to do is to send people to the site you’re promoting and when a sale is made you make money.
Let’s go ahead and get started. I suggest you to start with clickbank.com which is the largest digital marketplace on the internet, they have well over 10,000 products and services you can choose from. The first thing you need to do is to open a FREE account at clickbank.com click here now.
On their main page they’ll give you two options:
- Become a publisher
- Become an affiliate
You need to click on become an affiliate. On the next page they’ll explain you the benefits of being a clickbank affiliate, after you’ve read if click on sign up now.
On the next page you’ll need to fill out the sign up form with your basic information and at the bottom of the form you’ll need to come up with an account nickname. Now this has to be 5-10 letters & digits and make sure that’s something you can remember because if you forget it, you’ll need to create a new account. After you’re done click on the submit button.
They will send you an email with a confirmation code that you’ll need in order to activate your account. Once you’ve done that you’re account will be activated.
The next thing to do is to choose a product. Go to clickbank.com and click on the “Promote Products” tab and then click on marketplace. You can choose between 9 different categories simply by clicking on the category drop down menu and clicking on the OK button. You’ll see a list of all the different products they have for the category you’ve just selected. There are two things you need to pay close attention to when choosing a product, the gravity and the amount you’ll be making per sale.
I suggest you to choose a product with a gravity of at least 100.00 and the product should pay at least $30. When you’ve decided which product you want to promote, click on the “Create Hoplink” link. Type in your nickname and click on create. Copy the link they give you and start driving traffic to their site thru your affiliate link.
