How To Get Your Money Back When You Get Scammed.
If you’re constantly looking for new ways to make more money online then you’ve probably have gotten scammed one way or the other and I think I can help. I want to take this post to give you a few pointers on how to get your money back the easy way and the hard way in case you feel that the product you purchased was not worth the money you paid for it.
The first thing first, you should never buy anything online with your debit card and when I say never I mean never. This is why, when you use your debit card to purchase anything it’s your money you’re using and nobody really cares what happens after that, but when you use a credit card you’re using the bank’s money and they’ll do anything in their power to recover the money and keep you as a happy costumer. Get the picture?
When you’ve decided you want your money back because you didn’t like the product or whatever reason you may have the first thing you need to do is to contact the business asking for your money back in a polite way, you should get a response within 24 hours. In my experience I have to say that around 50% of the people you contact for a refund will get back to you, the other 50% will have to pay the price.
If you do not hear from them what you need to do is very simple, you request a charge back thru your credit card company and I assume some of you already know this but for the ones of you who don’t know about it all you need to do is contact your credit card company and tell them that you purchased a product online and the product did not do what it said it would do. You’ve tried to contact them for the “money back guaranteed” they offered but they haven’t gotten back to you and you want your money back.
I have over 10 different credit cards and not one of them has ever hesitated getting the money back for me, they just simply have the power to do it. Not only will they get your money back but they will actually charge them a fee every time they submit a charge back. So the business owner have to pay you back your money plus all the other fees to the credit card company.
If they thought they were just going to take your money they better think again. Hopefully this helps you in the future in case you ever get scammed again.
